LACED WITH PRIDE

Nottingham is known the world over for its football club and its lace-making heritage. For the 25/26 away kit, adidas brought the two together with a bespoke lace pattern woven into the shirt – a tribute to the craft & industry that helped shape the city.

To launch the kit, we told both sides of the story. First up, we shot at the historic Cluny Lace – one of the last remaining traditional lace factories, where vintage machines still run every day. Players were styled with edge and shot in and around the factory floor, surrounded by the tools of the trade.

Then we flipped the tone. Players were shot at night against the Nottingham skyline – a nod to the floodlights and the late returns – the away fans making their way home after following the club around the country (and Europe!).

Lace isn’t just heritage. It’s pride. And it’s stitched into every detail.
