150 YEARS OF ROYAL BLUE

To mark Birmingham City FC’s 150th anniversary, we created a campaign that celebrated the club’s proud history while capturing the energy of a new era.

The story began with the club’s roots, formed by members of a church cricket team in 1875. We brought this to life with a custom-built set, styled with period props and centred around a stained glass tribute to Holy Trinity Church. Around it, framed images of twelve club legends told a visual story through the decades.

Players from across the men’s and women’s teams were styled in a fashion-led way that complemented the heritage-rich backdrop, captured across stills and video.

Lifelong fan and world-renowned writer Steven Knight joined us on set to deliver the script direct to camera – adding depth, pride and authenticity to the club’s story.
